The process of creating a fine cigar begins with the right tobacco. We search out the best leaf from farms around the world. Each farm grows a distinctive product dependent on its climate, native soil and the heritage of its seed. The aromas and flavors we prefer come from Havana seed grown in parts of Central and South America. But we also buy exceptional domestic leaves from Connecticut and exotics from Cameroon and Indonesia.
Aroma is our first consideration. After that, we select for size, shape, color and texture — essential for the satisfying look and feel of our cigars. The outstanding quality of our product rests on our experience in choosing the right tobacco.
